The Story As a short film, we were initially stumped as to an idea for a film that featured well known characters and Special Originally Created Character. So since we were using characters that weren't ours anyway, we decided we'd use sets and locations that weren't ours either. We liked Star Trek, and we liked Blade Runner. So we did what any normal Intellectual Property thieves would do and took the best of all of them. With a starship based on Enterprise, a lighting and set design style of Blade Runner, and some of the intricate plot pieces of each. Without giving too much away, after being attacked by a horde of brain slugs that overrun the (Not-Close-Enough-To-The-Original-To-Sue) ship, Bender must face his demons and find out if he truly is a robot... Or a replicant. Zoidberg guest stars as a crab-like character. Like all Futurama episodes his purpose is undefined.
